I have an HP desktop that runs on Windows Last week I had an issue with a black screen and only being able to access safe mode to get into windows. I decided to reset the computer and have a fresh start. Now, I cannot use the computer at all. Apparently it is in safe mode, and windows will not reinstall. The computer didn't come with an installation disc, it was just in the computer when I bought it.

I have tried to go into command prompt to shut off safe mode, but it wants a password for the administrator account, and I don't recall ever making one. My user account had no password either. I have tried using the password I have for Microsoft and it says it's invalid.

I have also attempted to put the installation tool onto a DVD and boot from that, but it's not working I may not be doing it correctly. I have run out of ideas. I don't even know if this is something I can fix on my own or not. I was really hoping to avoid paying someone to fix it for me. If that did not work, download the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool and use it to create an iso image.
